Quick commerce platform Swiggy Instamart has partnered with Netflix for quick delivery of exclusive ‘Squid Game’ merchandise in select cities ahead of its season 2 release in India.
As part of the association, Swiggy Instamart has introduced an immersive and interactive Instamaut vending machine for fans of Squid Game in Cyberhub, Gurgaon.
The Squid Game merchandise including mugs, sippers, and games from the series will be delivered in themed bags, capturing the show’s visuals.
Commenting on the association, Phani Kishan Addepalli, co-founder of Swiggy in a statement said, “At Swiggy Instamart, we’re always exploring ways to blend convenience with delight. With the Squid Game partnership, we’ve gone beyond just delivering merchandise, we’re delivering experiences. The Instamaut challenge is a perfect example of how we’re creating moments where fandom meets fun.”
Poornima Sharma, head of marketing partnerships at Netflix India added, “Squid Game S1 is Netflix’s most popular series ever and we can see the anticipation for S2 building up every day. Our partnership with Swiggy intends to celebrate this fandom and bring fans closer to the stories and characters from the show they love.”
Swiggy Instamart has been investing heavily in marketing by collaborating with popular artists and shows to widen its reach and strengthen its position in the country’s booming quick commerce market.
