Hyderabad:

A farmhouse in Telangana’s Janwada, said to belong to Raj Pakala, brother-in-law of former minister and BRS chief KT Rama Rao, was raided by Cyberabad police when a party was going on.

It is said that after the complaints of the local people, when the Cyberabad Special Operations Team conducted a raid on Saturday night, thirty people were partying and a cache of foreign liquor was seized.

All revelers were tested for drug abuse. A man, identified as Vijay, reportedly tested positive for cocaine. Everyone else tested negative.

The police have registered a case against two people – one of them is Vijay, who is accused of abusing a banned drug and the other, Raj Pakala, for allowing his premises to be misused.

Police have converged on Oriental Villa No. 4 – residence of Kalavakuntla Tarak Rama Rao in Rayadurgam, and Villa No. 5 of Shailender Pakala, and Villa No. 40 of Raj Pakala.
