Shimla: Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Saturday said that the state government is committed to popularizing and promoting science among the youth.
He was speaking in the 32nd Himachal Pradesh Children’s Science Congress (HPCSC) started on Friday. The theme of this year’s event is “Traditional Knowledge Systems and Modern Science”. About 22,000 students and 8,000 teachers are expected to participate in it.
Sukhu said the program would be held on October 18, 19, 21 and 22 in all 73 subdivisions and on November 6 and 8 in all 12 districts. The state level fest will be organized on 13th and 14th November. The Science Congress is being organized by Himachal Pradesh Council of Science, Technology and Environment in collaboration with the Department of Education and Samagra Shiksha Himachal Pradesh. news network
