Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule which made ₹1000 crore at the global box office in just six days, making it the fastest Indian film to reach this feat has now hit the ₹1500 crore mark. Directed by Sukumar, the film is a sequel to the 2021 Telugu blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. Released on December 5, it features dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam.

Production banner Mythri Movie Makers, which bankrolled the project, shared the latest box office figures on social media, revealing that the film has grossed ₹1508 crore worldwide and claimed that it’s also the fastest Indian film to reach the mark.

Reacting to recent rumours about the film releasing on OTT in January 2025, the makers also confirmed that the film will not hit streaming platforms before completing 56 days in theatres.

In the sequel, Allu Arjun reprises his role as Pushpa Raj, a laborer-turned-sandalwood smuggler, alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.

The original film, also directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, was a commercial success, earning over Rs 300 crore in India and establishing a strong fan base beyond the traditional Telugu-speaking audience.

Pushpa 2: The Rule also stars Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj.
